Mike came to us as an adult.  Lynn was downsizing her herd and with much deliberation he came to live with us in his new Canadian home.  My idea was to do some obedience work and possibly some hunting.  I wanted an adult to have fun with so I wouldn't have to deal with the puppy training and this is where it all began for us. He stole our hearts as he is such a sweet dog.  With a little encouragement from my friends in the dog fanciers community we put a Canadian Championship on him.  He has also earned a Pre CD title and I hope he will do many more.  He shows great promise in Rally, Nose work and hunting.  Mike is our comedian.  He is the first to greet you in the morning with a toy, poke you with his nose to get you going, grab a shoe to get you to chase him and loves to cuddle his head into your neck for a scratch and a rub. Mike is really starting to turn it up now, some might say he is a late bloomer but watch for more of his achievements in the coming years.
