Hello and welcome!

This website is designed not only showcase my dogs, but to show anyone looking at this breed how versatile, loving and beautiful these dogs are. 

I am Betty Caldwell and I hope you will enjoy the photos and explanations on the dogs.  I have found this breed to exemplify  elegance and yet they show the drive and determination of an upland game hunter.

Over the years I have had many different breeds, but I started out with Irish Setters 40 years ago.  I work in veterinary medicine as a Registered Veterinary Technologist. It is the nature of the job to bring home the lost ones that need a good home.  My love and heart came back to setters, and I knew it was time to actually pick my own dog instead of the other way around.  My friend said to me "I think you found your breed" as I explained I was getting my second English Setter.  She was right.

Please feel free to email any comments or ask questions especially if you are looking to share your life with an English Setter.  I will try to be as forthcoming as I can, as I believe the dog must fit the person or family for it to be a happy forever home.
